Staying Busy

Published by Don Ryan under Ministry, Travel, Work Life

I just got back to my hotel room after a day of travel (mostly via subway) and am going to grab something to eat.  I am preaching tonight at New Life Tabernacle in Brooklyn where Bishop Michael Mitchell is the Senior Pastor.  Good Times!  Last night, Bishop Mitchell took us to Junior’s which, as their website implies, is famous for their cheesecake.  It is the best cheesecake I have ever had.  Robbie Knox and I both had the devil’s food cheesecake (which is as good as it sounds).

Back home tomorrow.  I can’t wait.

Exhausted

Published by Don Ryan under Travel

My day began at 4:00 AM with a wake-up.  This was after going to sleep after midnight.

I had a 6:20 AM flight that got me into NYC at 8:00 AM.

I went to Brooklyn this evening to speak to the leaders at New Life Tabernacle with my good friend Robbie Knox.  Robbie, Omar Jolly, Bishop Mitchell and I then proceeded to paint Manhattan red (Robbie’s never been here before).

It’s now 2:00 AM.  Twenty-two hours after my alarm went off this morning I’m going back to bed.

I’m glad I’m going home Wednesday because this town will kill me.
