This year, Charity decided to plant a garden in the backyard. We live in town so it’s a bit of an urban garden (we don’t have a big lot). Over the last week, we’ve had a fair amount of rain and the plants have gone nuts. We are raising corn, tomatoes, eggplant, sunflowers, and strawberries along with other stuff I’m sure I’ve forgotten.

Gabri and Michael love to help in the garden and they seem to have inherited their mother’s green thumb. As for me, well, let’s just say that when I left a managers position a few years ago, my group got me a cactus because it was the only plant they could think of that I couldn’t kill. They were wrong.

Yeah, I don’t go to the garden much but I’m glad to eat the fruits (and veggies) thereof.
